Before Marsh, he was with ABN AMRO Bank from 1993 to 2000. While at ABN AMRO he was Group VP in the Energy Group including Head of Oil & Gas for the Asia Pacific Region (based in Singapore) in 1997 and 1998. Bob's additional experience includes Bank One Texas' Energy Group and Credit Suisse. During his career, he has developed and managed relationships with companies involved in exploration and production, natural gas processing, refining, and petrochemicals. He has a comprehensive understanding of the commercial aspects of the entire energy chain and is adept at assessing strategic needs and developing solution alternatives.
He maintains positions of leadership with the Independent Petroleum Association of America, the Houston Energy Finance Group and the Houston Acquisition & Divestiture Forum. He is currently on the Southeast Board of the Independent Petroleum Association, member of the IPAA Business Development Committee, member of the IPAA Capital Markets Committee and a past chairman of the Wildcatters' Open (2003-2005). He has been a Director of the Houston Energy Finance Group since 2004, and served as its President in 2005. Bob is the current President of the Houston Acquisition & Divestiture Forum. He also serves on the Advisory Board of Small Steps (since 2001).
Bob holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Houston.
